Indie authors Facebook Page
Yesterday a dear friend and author came up with a great idea. It is a page for independent authors on Facebook. Check out the page at this address:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Indie-Authors/376923009089301?fref=ts
Not only is it a place for you to get free publicity but to get your readers to check out all of your books as well as other independent author books.

New From Fran Orenstein
I want to share with you all a poem written by Dr. Fran Orenstein shortly after the tragedy as Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. It is an amazing work that needs to be spread around the globe.
Unfinished Lives
Not an auspicious day
An ordinary winter Friday
A week before the ending
Or the new beginning of the world
Only two days after 12-12-12
A day of ascendance and movement
When meteors raced across the sky
And planets began their prophetic alignment
On this ordinary December day
The world shook in fear and rage
As twenty tiny stars winked out
And darkness fell on unrealized dreams
When hope crashed in a hail of bullets
Unspun dreidls, unopened Chanukah gifts
Hidden Christmas toys waiting in vain
A red bike buried in a box never to be ridden
The unbearable agony of drifting souls
Reaching out for Mommy’s arms
Their unfinished lives
Now only a fantasy

Reflections
Everywoman wanders, seeking a place in the sun, where she can raise her face to the warmth and rejuvenation. Reflections is everywoman’s journey through the many decades of her life that might be the saga of us all, with a few tweaks here and there. Follow her from childhood to early elder years on a trip that ranges from funny and ridiculous, to woeful and introspective. All are welcome to take her hand and tread upon the path she has chosen in this lifetime and enjoy the experience. Dr. Fran Orenstein’s writing is nothing short of brilliant and now, with the debut of her poetry collection, she delivers another thought-provoking reading journey. Orenstein is a masterful, skilled writer. Her ability to harness and weave language into breathtaking poetry not only holds your attention through every word, but challenges your own emotion and imagination. Few authors are able to depict such vivid images with their words, however Orenstein has proven her abilities once again. Her work is for readers of all ages and for those who truly value artful poetry such as written by literature’s esteemed greats. – Rev.
