Where Have We Been.

As I am sure  anyone who comes to my site has noticed, there has been very little activity in the past several months.  Unfortunately, I suffered a concussion last year and have not been able to keep  up with all of the things I have needed to get done.  But I AM BACK and ready to serve all of your publishing needs from proofreading to final publication.

There will be a new book  coming out soon and I will post all of that information as soon as it is all available.  So keep checking back here and see what is happening and send me a message if you have any questions on my services.

Dressing Your Book Gets Radio Coverage

Tune in on August 24, 2016 at 8:00pm to Blog Post Radio and listen to the show Off the Chain.  Dressing Your Book will be featured on the show that evening and you will learn a lot about what it takes to be an independent author.  I will be co-hosting the show with independent author Yvonne Mason.  Tune in for a really good time and an educational two hours.

Awesome News for one of our Authors

Dressing Your Book has just found out that one of our authors is going to be featured on an Investigation Discovery show. Author Yvonne Mason wrote a book called Silent Scream. It is a true crime book about Gerard Schaefer a serial killer in the Martin County area in Florida. She will be interviewed and featured on the show as an expert on Gerard Schaefer. This just goes to show that getting your book published can pay off in big ways. Look for more details to be posted as they become available.  Be sure to get a copy of her book available in print and on Kindle and Nook to read before the show airs so you know all about the story.

Okay everyone; I have some interesting news for you all.  You want to have your books on the shelf in bricks and mortar stores.  Well, Dressing Your Book is working on a way to make that happen for you.  The one thing it would require is that all books be published through Dressing Your Book and printed through Lightening Source.  This is not a big deal in any case.  The more authors and books I can get the cheaper it will be for all of you to avail yourself of this new and creative service Dressing Your Book will be offering by the first of the year.   There will be an annual fee for me to advertise your books through Ingram distributions catalog so that your books will be in bricks and mortar stores. Something totally new for independent authors.  I am trying to take you all to a place you have never been before. Please drop me an e-mail at dressingyourbook@comcast.net to let me know if you are interested in joining this great new adventure.  You can also post a comment on here as well and I will get them all and get you all ready for a great new year.

Coming Soon

Is marketing one of your biggest obstacles to sales?   Would you love to see your books on the shelves when you walk into your neighborhood bookstore?  The solution to this problem is coming.  Dressing Your Book is preparing to offer a new service to all of you independent authors.  We are going to begin a co-op marketing service for all independent authors.  For a nominal annual fee we will get your books distributed through Ingram Distribution to as many book stores as will order them.  This includes the big name stores as well as the smaller mom and pop stores throughout the country.  For this to happen your books must be published through Lulu as that is the only way they will be listed with Ingram.  No other printing company offers this service.  If you are not currently published through Lulu our company can, for an additional fee, get your books moved from your current publisher over to Lulu.  Look for more information to come in the upcoming days on how to sign up for this great new service.  If you have questions please email dressingyourbook@comcast.net for more information.
